If we talk about online education keeping in mind all aspects, then we also have to talk about its benefits, boon or curse (Importance) etc. Here, through some points, I will try to make you understand the advantages of this new method of education.

Many benefits of online education are born due to the convenience of sitting at home and studying.

  • Education is not affected due to various types of weather, circumstances, housewives or handicaps.
  • A lot of time and expense can also be saved by eliminating the hassles of regular traffic.
  • The resources and logistics of the school are also saved.
  • The time spent in pre-education formalities can be saved.
  • Digital data can be saved easily due to which the lecture given earlier can be reused at any time.

With the help of the points given below, you will also come to know about the disadvantages of this teaching method.

  • Every individual is not same; there is a wide variety of individuals. Therefore, reading or watching the screen is not that easy. It becomes very difficult to read on screen as compared to hardcopy.
  • Among the major disadvantages of online education are the deformities in the eyes, fingers and spinal cord of individuals.
  • Normally, in online education instructor is not able to communicate with all the students, in such a way the situation of communication is not considered suitable for learning.
  • Online learning of students, their understanding and weaknesses cannot be tested properly.
  • This education medium gives more freedom to the student, due to which he/she starts working according to his/her mind, due to this; the spirit of discipline is not developed in the students.
  • When the child is given a mobile or a gadget, his monitoring is also not done, what does he see etc. There is no shortage of content that misdirects the character of the child. In such a situation, parents also hesitate to give them smart phones.

Whenever a new method comes into effect, it cannot be imagined to be untouchable of certain side effects. After its use and practicality, we can identify negative points. Since online education is a useful field on which the future of children and the whole country rests, we should study all aspects of the system and look for ways to improve it.

Students should not be completely dependent on this medium of education. Students should also read print books and they should keep the opportunities open for reading online material as well. Experienced teachers teaching interesting ways should be encouraged in this. Help centers should be opened to solve the problems of students at various levels. Experimental study opportunities should also be provided to students.
