HR Leaders are forced to revamp their working style post Covid-19. The complete set-up of how we operate in the organization has become Information Technology driven, so the HR managers have to rethink their mission and adapt to new ways of working. As there is a titanic shift in the execution of work in organizations, management graduates have questions pertaining to future of HR Jobs. The uncertainty in the work has created doubts in the minds of people about the demand of HR jobs in market. Employees are turning to their employers for guidance. However, it is essential to understand that the change in work culture will only surge the role of HR in organizations. The HR jobs expected to be in demand in future are:
- Work From Home (WFH) Facilitator: After the outbreak of pandemic, many of the organizations shifted to work from home concept. The purpose is to safeguard the well-being of employees. This concept of WFH is here to stay even after Covid-19, hence the organizations need WFH facilitator who would ensure proper set-up in terms of technology, integration, financial aspects, and budgeting, technical tools. He would also be responsible for ensuring that the culture of organization is exhibited in place of work of employee at his home which may include same wall paint or décor as that of office.
- Business Behaviour Head: The personnel employed for the position would be responsible for collecting the employee data related to his motivation, cultural sensitivity, employee loyalty, satisfaction, etc and on the basis of the data, formulating strategies to improve employee engagement and commitment towards organization. He would be required to design strategies which would drive the employee towards developing trust and association with the organization.
- Coach for Second-Act: This is the generation of Fluid-working models where employees are working for the present which creates the need of Coach for Second-Act who would guide employee to redefine their work. Organizations value committed employees and never want them to depart from the company. In the same context, it will be the responsibility of the coach to help them to have their second act in the same organization, even if they are retiring. This will enable the organization to have pool of talent. They will ensure the right career move for the existing employees so that they do not separate from the organization.
- Human Bias Director: Companies are looking forward the role of Human Bias Director whose role would be to eradicate biasness in all the HR functions of the organization. His core responsibility is would be to ensure complete fairness in hiring process, performance appraisal, employee treatment, etc. The responsibility to have equality in the system pertaining to gender biasness, religion, culture would also rest with him.
