15th August is a great day and a proud moment for every Indian.On the occasion, GNIOT Institute of Management Studies(GIMS)  Celebrated 75th Independence day of India organized by SANSKRITI CLUB .Everyone on  the campus was geared up & enthused for the momentous occasion. Patriotic speeches on the theme ' Phir Muskurayega Bharat' were  delivered by both Ist Year & Final year PGDM students. Students spoke about the importance of the Independence Day & expressed their emotions through patriotic songs, speeches & dance performances. The highlight part of the show was speech delivered by Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, Director-GIMS.He told the students about the supreme sacrifice the great martyrs who gave their lives for the sake of freedom. He also said that the freedom is very precious and it is very necessary to preserve it.The function came to an end with National Anthem  and  Vote of Thanks by Dr. Ruchi Rayat ( Dean -OSW).
