The students coordinators of Samarpan: The CSR Club, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, successfully organized an insightful expert session on the topic "Evolving Paradigms of Cyber Security" on 19th December 2024 for the PGDM batch 24-26.

Ms. Preeti Yadav, IPS, DCP, Police Commissionarate, G.B. Nagar (U.P.), graced the event and provided her extensive expertise and real-world experience in the field of cyber security. Ms. Yadav underlined the significance of keeping abreast of the most recent trends, obstacles, and defense strategies in the fight against cyberthreats, pointing out the quickly evolving cyber landscape. The discussion also clarified the part that businesses, people, and legislators play in maintaining a safe digital environment.

The student coordinators of Abhyuday: The OB & HR Club, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, from PGDM batch 23-25, successfully organised MindMeld 2.0: The Outbound Training Session for batch 24-26 on December 18, 2024.

Through fun team-building exercises, the program aimed to improve interpersonal skills, promote teamwork, and provide a forum for hands-on learning. The activities ensured a balance of enjoyment and learning, ranging from innovative problem-solving tasks to trust-building exercises. Every exercise emphasized the value of cooperating to achieve a common objective, adjusting to various circumstances, and utilizing each team member's unique strengths.

As a monument to their accomplishments, the winning team and runner-up, who shown unmatched leadership, planning, and teamwork, took home trophies, medals, and certificates. 

Bravo! to Abhyuday's student organizers for putting together such a skillfully planned event. This event was the ideal fusion of fun, learning and celebration because of their efforts to identify and honor the juniors' skills.

This esteemed accolade is a testament to his unwavering commitment to academic excellence and  shaping future leaders in the field of management.

The award ceremony was a grand occasion, bringing together luminaries from the academic and professional worlds. Representing GIMS, our visionary Director, Dr. Bhupender Kumar Som, graciously received the honor on behalf of Mr. Singh. The recognition by Dainik Jagran underscores Mr. Singh’s efforts to create a vibrant ecosystem that fosters learning, innovation, and collaboration. It validates his mission to empower students with not just knowledge but also the skills and values needed to thrive in a competitive world.

The Corporate Resource Centre (CRC), GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, recently hosted highly impactful HR Meets in Pune and Mumbai on the 13th and 14th of December 2024, respectively. 

These events brought together industry leaders, HR professionals, and thought leaders under one roof to discuss emerging trends and transformative strategies in the HR domain. The meet was designed to serve as a platform for dialogue and collaboration, focusing on contemporary HR challenges and opportunities. It aimed to strengthen the relationship between academia and the corporate world while offering a deeper understanding of evolving business needs.

The students of PGDM Batch 24-26, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, had an incredible opportunity to visit Luxor International Manufacturing Export Facility, Noida on December 13, 2024. GIMS was the first institution to get this opportunity of industrial visit at this facility.

The hands-on learning experience gave students a comprehensive insight into the production of pens, the export of products across the globe, and the fascinating story of Pilot Pen. During the visit, students explored Warehouse ManagementProduction Planning & Assembly Quality Control with tests like Writing, Vacuum, Humidity, MFI, and Rub Tests. This enriching experience helped our students stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in the industry.

GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi NCR, organized 11th Masterclass for PGDM Batch 23-25 & Batch 24-26, under the flagship of “Tutelage” program, aiming to equip students with essential skills for the competitive corporate world. 

The session featured Mr. Sonu Sharma, one of India's leading voice and corporate motivational speaker. During the session, students gained valuable practical tips on managing stress in the professional environment. Mr. Sharma engaged deeply with the students, offering expert advice on various aspects of personal and professional development. He shared insights on interpersonal behavior, corporate culture, and how to meet the expectations of interviewers, enriching students’ understanding of the corporate landscape.

GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS) successfully hosted another impactful session of Chanakya Talks: Corporate Speaker Series on 10th December 2024. We were honored to have Mr. Vivek Shrivastava, CEO of Neostream Innovations, as our esteemed speaker, who left the audience inspired and motivated.

In his insightful talk, Mr. Shrivastava delved into the “Success Mantra: Three Pillars of Success Towards a Prosperous Life” and shared powerful lessons on the importance of discipline, manifestation, consistency, and persistence as the key ingredients for achieving success.

The session was a perfect blend of wisdom and practical strategies, leaving students and faculty with valuable takeaways to implement in their personal and professional lives.

GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, successfully organised Specialization Awareness Week, held between 2nd to 8th December 2024 for PGDM batch 24-26.

The event provided students a clear direction for their career paths and future growth by helping them select the most suitable specialization. The week featured a whopping 21 Corporate Interactions, where professionals shared valuable insights on skills, trends, and corporate best practices. Students also participated in faculty & leadership sessions, including enriching discussions with Area Chairs, Deans, and Directors, gaining clarity on specializations and career goals. 

The grand finale was the Corporate Evaluation on 8th December, where 20 corporate experts assessed students based on psychometric results, academics, and personal strengths. 

At GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, we believe in nurturing leaders who are not only successful but also significant in their respective fields. On December 7, 2024, we were privileged to host Mr. Vijay Ranjan Singh, HR Head-LG Electronics, India, for a transformative session on "The Journey to Expertise: From Success to Significance."

Mr. Singh’s session offered our students deep insights into the importance of cultivating expertise, not just for career growth, but to make a lasting impact on the organization and society. He discussed how success is just the first step, and the true essence of leadership lies in achieving significance through influence, innovation, and purpose-driven work. 

The session was a perfect blend of practical wisdom and corporate knowledge, encouraging our students to embrace challenges and aim for excellence in everything they do.
