GIMS, Greater Noida, Delhi/NCR, proudly #advanced its global vision by hosting esteemed international delegates on Day 1 of ICBSE-2025—the International Conference on Business, Sustainability & Environment on February 6th, 2025. The occasion was marked by an MoU signing ceremony with Mrs. Kyyal Tukembayeva(Deputy Director), Ms. Assem Issakh(Specialist), and Ms. Mamatova Sagira(Specialist) from Farabi International Business School, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Kazakhstan.

In a celebration of #knowledge, achievement, and the relentless pursuit of excellence, GIMS, Greater Noida, Delhi/NCR hosted the Convocation 2025 for the PGDM Batch 2022-24. This significant event not only marked the culmination of academic journeys but also paved the way for future leaders to step confidently into the world of business and industry. 

The occasion was graced by the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Shri Sunil Kr. Sharma, Minister for IT and Electronics of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Devendra Singh, Member of Lok Sabha from Akbarpur, Kanpur, and Shri S. P. Singh Baghel, Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying of India, who imparted wisdom and encouragement, urging the graduates to contribute to the nation’s vision of a developed and prosperous #future.

The ceremony recognized the outstanding achievements of the top graduates. Sneha Rawat was conferred with the Chairman’s Gold Medal, Richa Sharma received the CEO’s Silver Medal, and Ritika Singh was awarded the Director’s Bronze Medal. 
The convocation also highlighted the #exceptional performance of pgdm students with Varshita Gupta and Harshita Gupta from the PGDM Batch 2023-25, and Sparshi Garg from the PGDM Batch 2024-26, being acknowledged for their academic excellence.

As these young minds begin their professional paths, GIMS extends its best wishes, confident that they will carry forward the vision of transforming ideas into #impactful actions.
 

The students of PGDM batch 24-26, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, had an inspiring session with the Federation of Indian Export Organisation (FIEO) on ‘Export Incentive Schemes & Foreign Trade Policy 2023.”

This session brought esteemed presence of Mr. Ajay Sahai (Director General & CEO), Mr. Ashish Jain (Regional Head FIEO, North Region) and Mr. Mihir Ajit Shah (Advisor, Consultant & Trainer in International Business), who shared valuable insights on export incentives, duty exemptions, EOUs, technology parks, quality control, and the digital economy's role in cross-border trade. This training session was designed to arm the students with practical knowledge to thrive in global trade.

We are proud to announce the landmark collaboration between GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Republic of Kazakhstan.

This MoU represents a shared commitment to academic excellence, fostering international learning opportunities, and facilitating student and faculty exchange programs. By bridging global education standards, this partnership paves the way for cross-cultural collaboration and offers new avenues to explore innovative knowledge ecosystems.

As part of its "Tutelage" initiative, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, recently hosted its 13th Masterclass with Mr. Sonu Sharma, a well-known motivational speaker and a corporate trainer.

During the session, Mr. Sharma provided relevant information on various aspects including learning from the failures. His captivating talk struck a deep chord with the students, and they came to know about the relevant techniques to grow in future and personal development. Mr. Sharma connected well with the audience and provided insightful advice on overcoming obstacles. By emphasizing holistic growth, he highlighted the value of having confidence in oneself and one's abilities.

GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS), Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, in collaboration with Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India, successfully organised Entrepreneurship Awareness Program (EAP) for PGDM batch 24-26, on 27th of December.

We had the privilege of welcoming Mr. Ranjan Upreti, Consultant for Foreign Trade, Export and Import, as the resource person for the program. He shared deep insights into the entrepreneurial ecosystem, inspiring attendees to explore innovative business opportunities and challenges in today’s dynamic landscape. The program featured interactive Q&A sessions, group discussions, and brainstorming activities, enabling students to foster creativity and refine their entrepreneurial aspirations.

This Christmas, the campus of GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR came alive with joy, camaraderie, and vibrant celebrations at Jolly Jamboree - The Christmas Celebrations, organised by the student coordinators of Sanskriti- The Arts & Cultural Club. 

Everyone at GIMS celebrated the spirit of spreading joy and enthusiasm across the campus, stealing and healing many hearts. 

The students played Secret Santa to their counterparts, spreading the essence of giving, gratitude  making someone happy. The event observed a grand Christmas tree decoration and lighting, mesmerizing carol singing that echoed with cheer, many fun-filled games and delicious festive treats and a warm sense of togetherness.

This beautiful celebration reminded all, of the values of love, hope, and unity, which are at the heart of the GIMS community. 
 

Under the banner of Prabodhan Talk Series , GIMS hosted an exclusive session on "Corporate Strategy and Competitive Advantage" for the PGDM batch (2024–26) on December 21, 2024.

This insightful session delved into the core principles of corporate strategy and explored how businesses can create and sustain a competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving marketplace. 

GIMS had the privilege of hosting Ms. Vibha Sarin Prabhakar, Chief Experience Officer at Shriram Automall, and Dr. Pankaj Dikshit, PhD (IIT Delhi), Chief Technology Officer at Government e-Marketplace (GeM). Their extensive industry expertise provided attendees with actionable strategies for achieving growth and securing long-term competitive positioning.

The students coordinators of Samarpan: The CSR Club, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, successfully organized an insightful expert session on the topic "Evolving Paradigms of Cyber Security" on 19th December 2024 for the PGDM batch 24-26.

Ms. Preeti Yadav, IPS, DCP, Police Commissionarate, G.B. Nagar (U.P.), graced the event and provided her extensive expertise and real-world experience in the field of cyber security. Ms. Yadav underlined the significance of keeping abreast of the most recent trends, obstacles, and defense strategies in the fight against cyberthreats, pointing out the quickly evolving cyber landscape. The discussion also clarified the part that businesses, people, and legislators play in maintaining a safe digital environment.

The student coordinators of Abhyuday: The OB & HR Club, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, from PGDM batch 23-25, successfully organised MindMeld 2.0: The Outbound Training Session for batch 24-26 on December 18, 2024.

Through fun team-building exercises, the program aimed to improve interpersonal skills, promote teamwork, and provide a forum for hands-on learning. The activities ensured a balance of enjoyment and learning, ranging from innovative problem-solving tasks to trust-building exercises. Every exercise emphasized the value of cooperating to achieve a common objective, adjusting to various circumstances, and utilizing each team member's unique strengths.

As a monument to their accomplishments, the winning team and runner-up, who shown unmatched leadership, planning, and teamwork, took home trophies, medals, and certificates. 

Bravo! to Abhyuday's student organizers for putting together such a skillfully planned event. This event was the ideal fusion of fun, learning and celebration because of their efforts to identify and honor the juniors' skills.
