Empowering Students for a Secure Digital Future!
The IIC and Research & Development Club at GIPS organized an enlightening awareness campaign on Cyber Security in celebration of Cyber Security Month, as declared by AICTE, on 17th October 2024.
Cyber Security Expert, Mr. Shankar Suman , delivered an engaging session, providing students with critical knowledge to safeguard themselves in the digital world.
The key takeaways from the session covered a range of essential topics in cyber security, including strategies to prevent phishing attacks, effective password management, and the use of encryption to enhance data security. Students also learned how to conduct safe online transactions , recognize and defend against social engineering tactics and cyberbullying , and stay informed about the latest trends and emerging threats in the cyber world. The session also provided insights into ethical hacking, equipping participants with the knowledge to navigate the digital landscape responsibly.
