GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS) organized Chanakya Talks. A corporate Speaker Series. The event was inaugurated by Sarasvati Vandana followed by welcome address by Director Dr. A. K. Singh. Speaker of the day Mr. R. J. Masilamani Ex-CEO Timex delivered his lecture on Old Normal Keys to New Normal. He rightly linked chanakya’s arthasashtra & education with present context.
 
He shared his own experience & learning with reference to Old Normal Key to New Normal. He explained old normal from objectives of the firm to role of customer satisfaction & being in one business etc. He has thrown light on new normal which is half-truth and very well commented on that. 

He also talked about his own experience about:

• information technology assessment 
• valuation of startups 
• payment to employees & vendors
