GNIOT Institute of Management Studies, GIMS celebrated International Women's Day in the presence of Ms. Vaishavi Sinha Bhasin, Managing Director- Shoonya Farms. The day was marked with a seminar on ' Women Entrepreneurs: Making a change from Employment to Small and Medium Business Ownership'. Ms Vaishavi shared her transformational journey from being a National level athlete to Managing Director of Shoonya Farms. She aligned her life challenges as a woman entrepreneur with woman’s role in the Indian society. She stood out to be a role model for many students.

The day was also marked with splendid performances by PGDM Ist year students to celebrate the progress made towards achieving gender equality and women's empowerment. The event recognized the extraordinary acts of women
