With these wise words in today’s contemporary education and modern teaching, I welcome all young minds to the GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GNIOT). GNIOT’s vibrant and dynamic culture resonates with my opening quote as this institution transforms education and how!

Now, to introduce myself formally, I am Deepak Bansal, Global Talent Acquisition Head at Royal Cyber. With over 18 years of experience as a Developer, Entrepreneur, and HR professional, I have founded and led both an HR and Fintech company. With a rich exposure of working across more than 60 countries, I have had multiple other designations like future leader, innovator, and change-maker within several industries.

To join GNIOT as a mentor for interview training is an honour and a privilege. I will strive my best to mould young talents into future-ready professionals not with just a degree but well-rounded experts capable of handling the modern competitive business environment. My focus will be to foster a strong foundation of practical interview handling knowledge, ethical grounding, emotional intelligence, and a global perspective.

As a Global Talent Acquisition Head, I am always on the lookout for hiring top talent, the one who is most deserving and ideal candidate, the one who has the will and spark to align with both company goals and culture. Having said that, I have a list of my top 10 qualities that I believe candidates must possess. Here they are:

1. Communication Skills: Whether written or verbal, strong communication skill is the stepping stone to success.
2. Adaptability: The business environment is rapidly changing. You have to be on your toes to pick up new priorities, roles, and even technology.
3. Problem-Solving Skills: Companies cherish professionals who flourish in difficult times. If you can break down challenging issues into manageable parts, congratulations, you have aced the most crucial skill!
4. Leadership Potential: Gone are the days when ‘leader’ was just a title. Today companies demand leaders even in primary and entry-level roles.
5. Emotional Intelligence (EQ): Do you excel in communication, active listening, teamwork, and conflict resolution? Along with sound knowledge, a high EQ is the key to landing the most lucrative role and position.
