Mentorship with Corporate Groups

H i Everyone!
First off, I just want to say a massive congratulations to all the dear students on getting into or being already part of GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GNIOT). It’s a fantastic place and I hope that in a couple of years’ time, you’ll be able to agree with me that these really are the best years of your life. Just to introduce myself, my name is Priti Goel, and I am the Founder, CEO and MD of Prisha Wealth Management Limited, a SEBI Registered Investment Advisor. I am your Corporate Mentor and hopefully I’ll be seeing a lot of you in our fantastic range of upcoming conversations and meetings that are scheduled by the Institute for us to meet and engage throughout the year. As a mentor, I am here to give you advice, support and answer any questions you may have.

Whilst university life is always great, settling in and getting into the swing of things during the first semester can be tough. But the institute has ensured that there is constant support available to you and you will quickly overcome any problems that you may experience on the go. Remember, the one who ask, get answers as well.

I am a Banker for 23+ years and worked with Global Banks and Financial Institutions throughout my career and turned into a Businesswoman. I have been on Board of bank backed Non-Bank Finance Company (NBFC) and founding member of a bank backed Knowledge Processing Centre (KPO) or Global Service Centers as they are now called. I have delivered financial products and services to all customer segments (retail, high net worth (HNIs), private bank (UHNIs), corporate (MSME & large) and investment bank), across the continents (Asia, Europe and Middle East, US and Canada, etc) in past two decades. So there is a lot of corporate, global companies, multifaceted culture, clientele & wide range of products and services experiences that I will share with you for your first hand learning and knowledge. I have always loved my jobs, have done several of the most challenging banking jobs over the years and now as an entrepreneur, and delivered each one of them with highest integrity, passion, commitment and excellence for the clients, for the businesses and for the companies.

If I have to write down top 10 qualities that successful people are made of, they are as follows for me.
Passion – Real passion leads you to endless opportunities. Then even sky is no longer the limit
Trust – Real way to success is through your character, of which trustworthiness is paramount
Courage- You must have the courage to step out into the unknown. Believe in yourself
Accountability- Own up your mistakes. No passing the buck when you’re the one in charge
Flexibility- Be adaptable to the situations, the times, the ideas and the people even
Tenacity- Keep going even when it gets tough
Confidence- Keep confidence marching on even when in doubt about whether you’re doing right or wrong
Self-discipline- Get up every morning with enthusiasm for the day to keep pushing forward
Innovation- Be forward thinking. Be innovator in your industry
Decision Making – Be comfortable making a decision. Don’t just think about doing, begin doing

Be prepared to grow your character while you grow your personality, your profile, your work, your business.
