The Chanakya Talk Series(CTS), organized by GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS), Greater Noida, enriched the GIMS Millennials with the role of Data and Analytics in the current times.

The industry speaker for the event, Mr. Deepak Kumar, GM Analytics, CLICFLYER emphasized the importance of Data and its analysis in the industry. The core of any process in life is Data and thereby one needs to value it to flourish both as a professional and as a human.

Diversity is to invite; Inclusion is to involve. The millennial managers of GNIOT Institute of Management Studies(GIMS), Greater Noida, attended the #NHRDN's #Diversity and Inclusion Summit- Samaaveshan-2021.
The galaxy of stalwarts from the industry enlightened the participants on the developments in the industry post pandemic and the way forward in the Diversity & Inclusion practices in the industry compared to the contemporary business excellence.

To keep students abreast with the recent market trends GIMS organized an Educational Visit to India International Trade Fair, Delhi for PGDM Batch 2020-2022.

Institute's Innovation Council & Nutan Club, GIMS in association with Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Property Management had organized a workshop on " IPR Patents Design Filing Process" with the motive of spreading the knowledge on the Intellectual Property Rights, its importance and protection.

The workshop began with opening remarks by Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, Director- GIMS in which he enlightened the participants by focusing on the importance of Innovation Council in the institution and explained the importance of guarding the research work.

The final taught of the workshop was given by Dr Pankaj Borkar, Deputy Controller of Patents & Designs under Central Govt of Office .The speaker shared his magnificent knowledge and experience in the patents and Intellectual Property Rights where he guided the students about drafting the patents and what actually can be patented.He covered about Copyrights, Trademarks and Patents by giving real life

Yesterday, closing ceremony of the value added certification program took place with Certificate distribution to the students by our Director, Prof. Dr. Arun Kumar Singh and Resource Person, Dr. Prabhat Mittal. Here are a few glimpse of the event.

We Organized Industrial Visit to Surya Food & Agro Ltd. for PGDM First Year(Batch 2021-23) Students on 20th November 2021.

Under the banner of Performance Improvement Program (PIP), a workshop on "Understanding salary Breakup, Salary Structure and Salary Components" was organized for HR Specialization students on 22nd October'21. The workshop intended to educate students about the Salary Breakup, deductions and Tax calculation .It helped the future HR Leaders to build and understand Pay Structure. Dr. Ruchi Rayat( Area Chair-HRM) was the Resource person of the workshop.

i-analytikà - ITBA Club of GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS) in association with QTanalytics, India has organizing its FIRST VALUE ADDED CERTIFICATION on "Advance Excel for Managers" for its PGDM Batch 2021-23. The 5 days certification program has commenced yesterday, 13th October, 2021. This Five days hand-on certification programme, is to step towards building future managers by enhancing their analytical skills through familiarizing them with the various research methods, statistical tools used for data analysis and use of MS Excel to conduct analysis and applying right tools and techniques while conducting research.

It is the mission of GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS) to create an environment that inspires passion amongst its students. To reinforce the same thought, Class Representative(CR) Elections were organised by SAKSHAM ,The Student Welfare Club, GIMS on 12th October'21 in Seminar Hall. The nominations for all the three sections in the first year were online submitted by the students on 8th October. On the final day, nominees appealed the faculties and fellow students to cast vote for them by sharing as why they should be elected as CR and also their future commitments after being elected. The voting was done online by the students and winners were identified. The elected CRs will be shortly announced by the Director, GIMS.

The Performance Improvement Programme(PIP), "Demystify the Art of Storytelling" conducted on October 12, 2021 @ GIMS, Greater Noida helped the participants understand the importance of Effective Presentation Skills through Storytelling. A Presentation is delivered not merely to share an information with the audience but to hook them and arising their interest in your words. A simple take-away of the workshop- "Find your Story to entice the Audience"
