GNIOT Institute of Management Studies(GIMS) is happy to share that we are signing a Memorandum of Understanding( MOU ) with Young Indians. Young Indians is a flagship movement under the aegis of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and is leading to converge youth of nation to cocreate , lead and Influence India’s future. 

We are glad to host the some of the top names from the industry who will be joining us in the MOU ceremony on 31st January 2023 from 11:00 AM onwards in the Seminar Hall at Chanakya Block GIMS . Followed by the orientation of the Young Indian and students' YUVA vertical at GIMS.

This MOU will strengthen our commitment towards nation building  and will enable to enshrine our vision to much heights. We are elated to invite you to join us in this New Chapter at GIMS

Hashtag Club-The Marketing Club of GIMS organised Skill Augmentation Certificate(SAC), “Marketing Analytics” for PGDM II Year students on 12-13th December 2022. The resource person Mr. Ajay Prakash Mishra of KOAK Education educated the students of fundamentals of marketing analytics.

The students got to understand versions of marketing, ad hoc reporting, data analysis and interpretation and storytelling through facts and figures. The workshop enhanced students’ comprehension of marketing analytics

The Three Days Skill Augmentation Certification (SAC) organized by Arthvitt , Finance & Economics Club of GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS), Greater Noida, from 5th to 7th December 2022, concluded with a lot of learning and hands-on experience.

The three days training sessions gave an insightful learning to the Finance Specialisation students of PGDM on Three Statement Modelling where Mr. Sumit Gulati, the trainer and Founder of FINEXCEL Academy, briefed students to develop financial statement models in order to upskill themselves to take efficient corporate financing decisions.

i-Analytika, the IT & Business Analytics Club of GIMS, Greater Noida organized a Skill Augmentation Certification(SAC) from Dec 5 – 8, 2022 on "Power BI" in association with PPDC, MSME.

The resource person Mr. Ashish Rana (Microsoft Certified Trainer) conducted training for our students. During the training, He shared in depth knowledge of data analytics, that how to clean the data, how to make use of primary key and foreign keys in merging the different tables, how to create visualization, how to generate report. Students were able to understand this Power BI Technology. After this training students felt confident that how they can handle the data.

Someone very correctly said, that the more you play with data, more inside information you have from it.

Institutions Innovation Council ( IIC ) in association with NUTAN The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club, GIMS, Greater Noida, organised a workshop on "Entreprenurship & Innovation as Career Opportunity".

Mr. Saurabh Trivedi Founder IP Samadhan, startup mentor and coach was expert of the session, he discussed about the opportunity available in the current startup ecosystem in India. He highlighted the aspect of being an entrepreneur and the autonomy and responsibility one must have to take the charge of your organisation. Opportunity for an aspiring entrepreneur ranging from ideation, mentoring to funding everything was discussed in detail.

The students were happy to share their thoughts with the expert and their queries entrepreneurship was handled by the expert.

GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS, Greater Noida) organized an industrial visit to AMUL BANAS DAIRY UNIT, Faridabad, Haryana, for its PGDM students (Batch 2022-24) from 24th-26th Nov 2022. The visit to this unit of AMUL (World’s Largest Milk Co-operative) was indeed an enriching experience for our students.

They got to learn the functioning of one of the largest milk producing units in India and got exposed to crucial business functions and functionality of Dairy Business. Students learnt in deep about milk production, cold supply chains, distribution and retailing strategies of AMUL. The visit also allowed our students to be the part of National Milk Day Celebration on 26th Nov, commemorated in the memory of Dr. Verghese Kurien, the Father of the White Revolution in India. GIMS extends heartfelt gratitude to AMUL BANAS UNIT for their outstanding support and hospitality.

The Students of GIMS,Greater Noida had the same experience during their Educational Excursion to the India International Trade Fair, 2022 on  November 20, 2022.

The students visited the pavilions of various states and studied modus operandi of many businesses. The highlights were:

The Vocal for Local stalls, where the craft work of different states was exhibited.

The National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) pavilion, where they got to learn the nuances of investment and how to counter risk in investment.

In all, the visit was full of fun and learning too...

GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS) Greater Noida, conducted an excursion to the heart of Delhi that’s Red Fort and India Gate on November 11/12, 2022.

This Excursion, helped students to get a connect with the royal history, culture and customs of the visited places.

In pursuit of preparing our students and instill a sense of confidence "Sarvottam" was conducted for two days. The expert trainer for the event was none other than Coach APM, Mr.  Ajay Prakash Mishra.

Students not only had lot of learnings but also felt motivated, geared up for any forthcoming challenges. They are well prepared for the challenges that might come up in their corporate journey and more aware about the trends in the corporate regarding soft skills.
