"Always deliver more than expected" That's what every individual focuses on these days and for the same ABHYUDAY, HR Club of GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS) organized a workshop on Building the future of work with Google Workforce in association with Indian Institute of Digital Education, IIDE to demonstrate the usage, functionality and effectiveness of various tools provided by Google Workspace on 26th of May. The Resource Person for the Workshop was Mr. Akash Gogri, Business Development Head, IIDE. The session started with Welcome Address by Prof. Mayank Pandey (Program Head, GIMS) The workshop basically emphasized on the different features provided by Google Workforce, that are not provided by Microsoft Applications like (MS Office, MS PowerPoint etc). It also highlighted the integrated experience of Google Workspace in the New Normal. In the end of the session, Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. Ruchi Rayat (Dean - Outreach & Student Welfare).
The Two Day Online Workshop on Essence of Entrepreneurship in this VUCA World, organized by Nutan-The E-Club, GIMS, Greater Noida for its PGDM students concluded on May 15th, 2021. The workshop traversed the participants through various nitty-gritties of an entrepreneurial journey like the importance of an Ideal Team Mix, the Funding process and foremost the idea finalization. The participants showcased their ideas to the facilitators and got their feedback from them as well. The Best Idea chosen was even assured to be looked upon by the facilitators on a serious note for the investment opportunities. A workshop on ' PARICHAY- Competency Mapping & Achievement of Goals ' was organized for the students by Dr. Ruchi Rayat ( Dean-OSW).
Students gave presentation on their identified academic and individual goals ,which were later reframed by Dr. Rayat on the basis of their core competencies and road map to achieve them was designed.
After the first year of PGDM, these goals would be evaluated and gaps, if any, and reasons for the gaps would be studied.
The objective of the workshop was to help the students to have Self- Identification, which is a first step for them towards becoming a brand
The International Women's Day was celebrated at GNIOT Institute of Management Studies, GIMS on 8th March'21. On this occassion, Seminar was organized in online & offline blended mode on ' EVERY DAY IS A WOMEN'S DAY' .
The program started with welcome address by Dr. Ruchi Rayat( Dean - OSW) , in which she highlighted the relevance of the day and how gender equality can make the world a better place to live in.
The first guest of the seminar was Major Nisha singh . In her address to the students, she emphasized on the need of self defense and role of woman in society .
Ms.Anu Mehta , DGM & Head CSR was present offline in the seminar. She highlighted the need of women independence and gender equality.
