Day 6 of ARISE-2020, PRE-ORIENTATION program for B.tech first year students started withe welcome note by Dr Rajesh Goel.
Mr. Ravi Shankar Kochak, Ex. Additional Member, Railway Board, Indian Railways was today's expert and he elaborated on the Importance of Engineers in Society. He discussed seven things in particular:
1. Important Skills Required
2. Jobs for Engineers
3. Make in India Program
4. Development of New Technologies
5. Social Responsibilities and Contribution to Society
6. Recent successful entrepreneurs
7. Future from 2020 to 2040
Industrial revolution 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 was also explained to the students.

Day- 6 of Orientation Programme ARABDHA -2020 began with a welcome of our admired key note speaker Mrs. Madhuri Sahasrabudhe (Chairperson FHDAF, convener global mothers and visionary leader). She addressed our students and provide insight on the topic of mental de- stress. She said that presence of anxiety or a conflict within the mind, does not stamp any individual as having a psychological problem because, as a matter of fact these qualities are indigenous to the species . Mrs. Sahasrabudhe guide our students that mental health problems can affect many areas of students’ lives reducing their quality of life, academic achievement, physical health, and satisfaction with the college experience and negatively impacting relationships with friends and family members. Dealing and identifying psychological problems is the need of this hour.
Day 5 of ARISE-2020, PRE-ORIENTATION program for B Tech first year students started with welcome note by Dr M S Rawat. Mr Tushar, , Additional General Manager, BHEL, Bhopal was the guest speaker for today's first session. He delivered a wonderful session on "Engineering as a Profession: A reality Check''. He elaborated the process of 3D printing in industry and real life. Importance of material science to computer science engineering and other branches in industry were expanded in detail. Applications of AI, in electrical engineering in engineering and real life were discussed.

Day 5 of Orientation Programme ARABDHA -2020 started with a welcome note by Prof. Dr. Savita Mohan to our esteemed guest speaker Prof. A. K. Khare (Pro-Vice-Chancellor U.P Technical University, Lucknow, Advisor-Quantum University, Roorkee). Mr. Khare’s deliverance was focused on building competencies for competitive advantage. He conveyed that core competencies stand for small abilities may be knowledge, skill, attitude, or any other dexterity that can be leveraged to perform a job more proficiently and effectively. Prof. Khare affirmed that our budding managers in the coming decades would succeed or fail to depend on their ability to leverage their core competencies. The critical task for the managers will be to develop organizations capable of infusing products with irresistible functionality that customers have not yet imagined.
Day 04 of ARISE-2020, PRE-ORIENTATION Program for B. Tech first year started with the welcome address of Dr Rajesh Goel to Mr Mahesh Shinde, GM, Head-indoor testing(ERC)

The expert Mr. Shinde delivered an exemplary session on "Concurring Challenges through Engineering Skill Sets". He elaborated the process of Re-Skilling and Up-Skilling in industry. He made an excellent connect of core engineering to pharma, medical equipments, IT, IIOT, AI, Machine learning. Scope of IT sector in automation, computing, analytics was also discussed in depth.His session was very informative and he covered most of the aspects of management in industries, block chain, supply chain management.He had good interactive session with students also at the end of his session and clarified their doubts.

Day 03 of ARISE-2020, PRE-ORIENTATION Program for B. Tech first year started with the welcome address of Dr Rajesh Goel to Mr Vindhyavasni Rai, Senior DGM, Delhi metro rail corporation, Guest Speaker for Session 1 from 10.30 am today.
The expert Mr.Vindhyavasini Rai delivered an exemplary session on Engineering Education and Employment prospects. His session was very informative and he covered all aspects of engineering beginning with what is engineering, to what are the different disciplines of Engineering and what are the future prospects of each discipline. He had a long interaction with students also at the end of his session and clarified their doubts.

Mr. Gautam’s deliverance was focused on Career skills- career development tools and ideas. He asked students that where they want to go in their career, they have to decide now. He stated that deciding on a career takes research, goal setting and knowledge of self. You have to see the pros and cons of each and every sector. He emphasized on the fact that there is no short cut for success. Initially you must decide what you want to become. Students can go for career planning tools like SWOT Analysis, Career testing, self-assessment, personality test, Career planning test etc. Mr. Gautam affirmed that students have to use the available resources, explore their strength, build effective relationship and develop an ability to deal with career challenges and difficult people.
Greater Noida Institute of Technology, Gr Noida organized its Pre Orientation Week Arise -2020 through the Digital Platform for the B.Tech First Year Students and today was the Day one of the Orientation week. First Day began by welcoming the Chief Guest who is a legend of our country. So the Chief Guest for the today's event was Mr Suhas L. Yathiraj, District Magistrate of Gautam Budh Nagar. To create an auspicious aura there was saraswati vandana and prayers were offered at the lotus feet of Goddess Saraswati. Students were then assessed by the Director Dr Rajesh Goel.
