GIMS, Greater Noida organised The Convocation 2023 on December 23,2023 for its PGDM Batches 2020-21 & 2021-23. The occasion was adorned by the benign presence of the Chief Guest Sri. Dhirendra Singh (MLA, Jewar, Gautam Budhh Nagar, UP). He congratulated the graduands and urged them to prosper maintaining the essence of "Sindhu Ghati Sabhyata" and taking forth the motto of "Viksit Bharat" with their progress.
 
The graduands were elated on being conferred with their diplomas marking the completion of their course. The toppers for the batch who were conferred with the Chairman's Gold, CEO's Silver and Director's Bronze were Ms. Sumedha Srivastava(2020-22), Mr.Ansh Sharma and Mr. Sachin Sharma from PGDM Batch 2020-22 and Ms. Divya Goel, Ms. Swati Mishra and Ms. Pushpa Jha from the batch 2021-23 respectively.

Abhyuday: OB & HR Club at GIMS organized an  Employability Skills Enhancement Program (ESEP) titled "Understanding Compensation Structure through Payroll Management" for PGDM Batch 2023-25 held on 6th of December. The event aimed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge about the intricate aspects of payroll management and its role in determining compensation structures.
 
Our experts of ESEP Dr. Ruchi Rayat, Dr. Meghna and Prof. Vibhanshu, delved into the complexities of payroll systems, shedding light on various components such as basic salary, allowances, and deductions. The session provided invaluable insights into the significance of an efficient payroll system in ensuring fair and transparent compensation practices within organizations

Hashtag- The Marketing Club of GIMS organized the Grand Finale of AD MANIA competition for PGDM I Year students on 25th November, 2023.
A thrilling conclusion to the month-long competition saw 8 teams out of 22 advance to the final round. The teams made an effort to engage the audience by outlining their USP, Competitor Analysis, Market Segmentation, Pricing and Promotion strategies. The winners were announced at the conclusion of the event. The event proved to be a learning curve for students and sharpened their marketing acumen.

CRC, GIMS organized another episode of CTS for its budding managers of Batch 2023-25. The CHANAKYA for this session was Mr. Subhankar Ghose, Senior HR leader. Mr. Ghose brought in nuances of career progression and insights of Fintech space in his discussion and guided our budding managers. He deliberated upon a fine blend of EQ and IQ and developing the right skills set and attitude for smooth career progression. 
The session was indeed a great learning experience for our students.

We are thrilled to share highlights from our recent event "BEATING THE PLASTIC WASTE" hosted by SAMARPAN - The CSR Club! of GNIOT Institute of Management Studies. 
The club organized an inspiring presentation competition focused on tackling the plastic waste crisis. Students showcased their passion, creativity, and commitment to a greener future.
Workshop in association with Bisleri Bottle for Change: An initiative of Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd., our event featured an educational workshop, "Roadmap to Beat Plastic Waste." Participants learned about innovative solutions and practical steps to reduce plastic consumption.

Diving Deep into Cricket Finance: The GIMS Premiere League "Bidders Delight".
 
Arthvitt: The Finance Club, GIMS organised a "GIMS BIDDERS DELIGHT"Activity on 1st of November 2023.
 
This immersive experience allowed our students to gain invaluable insights into the business side of cricket, from assessing player worth to understanding the financial dynamics of a billion-dollar league. It was a great opportunity for students to apply financial knowledge to a dynamic real-world setting. 
 

NUTAN: The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Club at GIMS, in collaboration with the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) and InnovateUp (Incubator), successfully conducted a Motivational Session on "Intrapreneurship to Entrepreneurship: Supercharge Your Career" on November 1st.

Our esteemed guest speaker, CMA Pankaj Jain, shared his incredible journey from being an Intrapreneur to becoming a successful Entrepreneur. His story was a testament to the power of perseverance and innovation. He showed us that it's possible to turn dreams into reality with hard work and the right mindset.

GIMS, faculties delivered lectures at De Montfort University, Dubai Campus on "Navigating the Modern Business Landscape" to their students from multidisciplinary backgrounds...

The first in the lecture series was on "Leadership and Emotional Intelligence: Empowering Better Decisions" delivered by Dr. Ruchi Rayat, Professor and Area chair OB&HR. 

The lecture focused on the importance of Emotional Intelligence for leaders to make better decisions. The participants gained insights on various techniques to apply EI for being a better leader and making impactful decisions. 

This collaboration of GIMS Greater Noida with De Montfort University, Dubai campus has paved way for a mutual enhanced learning in global arena

The Creative Manifestation was at its best at "Poiesis: From Imagination to Manifestation" on October 28,2023.

Saksham: The Student Welfare Club, GIMS, Greater Noida successfully organised "Poiesis" an event  challenging the PGDM 23-25 batch Millennial Managers of GIMS, Greater Noida to be at their creative best and think out-of-the-box to express their thought process based on given themes. 

The highlight themes chosen by the participants were "Teleportation", "Parallel World", and "Vanishing of Social Media". In all it was an enriching experience for both the presenters and the audience.
