GIMS believes in providing a contextual learning environment to the Students. On these lines, Abhyuday- The OB & HRM Club organized a “Learning by Sharing-Book Review competition” for the students.
The competition was announced on 13th February’23 in which the students had to complete any management book of their choice and share their learnings with other students. The purpose was to develop learning by sharing knowledge amongst other students.
45 students had given their nominations, amongst which 21 qualified for the finale on 15th March’ 23. It was a session imbibed with collaborative learning for all.

On February 8, 2023, the Arthvitt, Finance & Economics Club of GNIOT Institute of Management Studies hosted a debate competition titled "UNION BUDGET -2023: Big on Hopes, Short on Ideas" to encourage today's young minds to discuss the Union Budget of India for 2023 and use the power of speech to emphasise the budget's benefits and drawbacks from the perspective of the Indian economy.
GIMS students enthusiastically engaged in the competition, which sparked a frank discussion that highlighted the arguments for and against the motion. In relation to the Union Budget 2023, the competition presented all sides of the story. Winners were those participants who best expressed their opinions, did it with confidence, and interacted amicably with their fellow participants.
Under the banner of Employability Skill Enhancement Program (ESEP), the students of GIMS attended workshop on “Art of Selling” on 8th February 2023. The resource persons gave insights on the skills and tactics that can be used for personal selling. The students learnt how to effectively communicate and build relationships with customers. GIMSians had the chance to recognise the great variety of programmes provided under the varied ethnicities and cultures. They had the opportunity to understand how the educational model used at Curtin Singapore can produce knowledgeable, professional people who are dedicated to professional growth and are equipped for the contemporary age.

The students visited Middlesex University, Dubai Campus * during *International Immersion Program 2023 and got the opportunity to attend expert session and received the certificate for the same. Middlesex University Dubai is the first overseas campus of the renowned Middlesex University based in London, UK. It is a lively, varied, and multicultural campus that takes pleasure in offering a unique learning environment.
Gimsians got an opportunity to acknowledge the wide range of programmes offered under the diverse nationalities and cultures. They got the chance to learn how the education system followed in Middlesex University can develop professional, skilled individuals fitted for the modern world, committed to life-long learning.

The airship of FERNWEH- The International Immersion Programme(IIP-2023) for PGDM Batch 2021-23 (Group-1) to DUBAI is all set to fly on February 2, 2023. The ship will land back home on January 6, 2023.
FERNWEH includes Industrial visit, Sightseeing, and exposure to Middlesex University, Dubai campus.
IIP-2023 is an opportunity for these Millennials for experiential learning, gain higher-level of exposure and advance their problem- solving skills. They'll also experience cultural diversity and get a chance to connect with the people of Dubai.
