Hashtag - The Marketing Club GIMS, in association with Mapping Skills Pvt. Ltd. organized Ad_Smith (Ad Mad Competition) on 6th Jan 2022. 17 teams prepared video ads and promoted through YouTube. Product categories taken for ad were FMCG, Organic Product, E-Commerce, Lifestyle etc. The submissions were evaluated on the basis of parameters like Conceptual clarity, Product Uniqueness, Video making, Subscriptions, Likes and views earned etc. Top 3 teams were felicitated for their work. DATA ANALYSIS USING SPSS – A Four Days Value-added Certification Workshop Vishleshan: The Research Club, GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS), Greater Noida, in association with SPSS South Asia (P) Ltd, Bangalore & QTanalytics, Delhi, has successfully completed four days (04th, 08th, 10th & 11th, January-2022) value-added certification workshop on “Data analysis using SPSS.
Sanskriti Club, GIMS celebrated Christmas on 24th of December 2021. The day was specially organized keeping in mind its sanctity and relevance. Speaking on the occasion, Director, Dr. Arun Kumar Singh highlighted the importance of the festival with New Year Resolution. The celebrations included a rhythmic performance from the students and an add-on surprise package by Santa Claus. The faculty and students were completely spellbound with the Christmas gratification. Christmas was celebrated with religious gaiety, fervor, and enthusiasm. Faculties, Outreach Team and Students were vibrantly dressed in red and white for the theme. The program included games for the faculty, a dance performance, songs, and a skit by the students.
The theme of the celebrations was “Secret Santa for little Kids”. Team GIMS donated clothes, food item for the underprivileged kids and distributed on 25th of December in Greater Noida.

The importance of linking attraction, recruitment and retention strategies and activities to the direction of the organisation and its values and vision is vital.
The workshop on How a company can become a Magnet for Talent was organised for PGDM final Year HR students by Dr. Ruchi Rayat, Dean OSW & Area Chair- OB & HRM. The workshop provided an overview of sourcing and attracting talent using current strategies such as social media, selection of staff to meet business requirements and tactics to retain employees.
Key learning outcomes of the workshop were:
1. How to use job analysis and design to ensure that the requirements for a role are clearly defined and appropriate to the needs of the business
2. Define the key attraction and retention strategies for multigenerational organisations
3. Use interviewing methods to get the best out of the selection process
4.Understand the real cost of turnover and the impact of motivators in the workforce

Corporate Resource Centre(CRC), GIMS, Greater Noida had Organised Chanakya Talks Corporate Speaker Series (CTS) on December 22, 2021. The Industry expert for the session was Mr. Mohit Kapur (Vice President), EXL Services. He explained about the basics of Financial Market, Financial Assets and also he explained about the flow of fund between supplier of funds (households) and users of funds (corporations) through equity and debt instruments in direct transfer.
GIMS, Greater Noida, looks forward to the Corporate Gyan being assimilated by its Millennial Managers by the Corporate Chanakya to Excel in their career and lives.

The CCDians at GIMS, Greater Noida launched Buzzathon- Click with a Manager’s Style, on Dec 10, 2021 with full fervour. The event was inaugurated by Director-GIMS, Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, Head-PGP, Prof. Mayank Kumar Pandey, Are-chair CnD, Dr. Shalini Sharma (Faculty Coordinator- CCD) along with all the faculty members amidst the presence of PGDM I and II year brigade of GIMS, Greater Noida.
Buzzathon is a month-long event, engaging the GIMSians to click and decipher the pictures as a manager and prove their creative prowess. The Millennials eagerly await the second round scheduled towards the end of this month.

CRC, GIMS, Greater Noida, organized an Industrial Visit for its PGDM 2020-22 Batch to Mother Dairy, New Delhi on December 01, 2021.
The visit gave these Millennial managers an opportunity to relate the theoretical practices with their implementation in the real world.

ABHYUDAY-THE HR Club, GIMS organized 'Outbound Training Session' for PGDM Ist Year students on 27th of November'21.
Major objectives of the session were to help the students:
-to enhance the eye for details
-to improve analyzing skills -to enable quick decision making
-to make students cooperative and team players
and to give them long lasting impressions of the subjects, which they have learnt inside classrooms.
Active participation and enthusiasm was exhibited by all the students during the games like Rope Twister, Valley of Acid, Scavenger hunt, Tap n Tap,etc
The day ended with Faculties and Outreach Team participating together in Valley of Acid and Tug of War. The day was marked with lots of Learnings and Laughter!!
