The student coordinators of Abhyuday: The OB & HR Club, GIMS, Greater Noida, Delhi/NCR, hosted a fantastic role play activity on "Simulation Based Case Study Analysis Competition" for the PGDM Batch 24-26 on Saturday, 10th of August.

The event was graced by the presence of our distinguished alumni, Mr. Deepak Dubey, Ms. Puja Kumari, Mr. Prateek Rawat, Ms. Monika Goswami & Ms. Shweta Singh, who served as judges for the competition and their extensive experience in various fields provided the valuable insights to the students.

The simulation-based case study methods covered the real-life business situations on the various topics like conflict management, workplace bullying & dimensions of personality. The participants performed a role-play, demonstrating their analytical, behavioral & problem-solving approach to overcome complex challenges.
 

GIMS, Greater Noida, Delhi/ NCR recently hosted a stellar "Corporate Leadership Conclave" on August 10th, 2024, for the PGDM Batch 2023-25. The event featured two dynamic panel discussions with industry leaders.

The first panel included Mr. Manish S. Panjwani (CTO, Shriram Automall), Mr. Achyuta Ghosh (Sr. Director, NASSCOM), Ms. Prashasti Rastogi (Sr. Director, Coursera India), and Mr. Manhar Mohan Sharma (Director, Accour), moderated by Dr. Bhupender Kumar Som, Director of GIMS. Key insights from this session focused on the evolving role of technology in leadership, data-driven decision-making, and strategies for navigating complex corporate landscapes.

The second panel featured Mr. Bikas Kumar Singh (SAP), Ms. Aparna Saroagi (NatWest Group), Mr. Rajeev Soota (USHA International), and Mr. Sudhir Dasamantharao (Boston Scientific), with Mr. Ashish Kumar (Tata Consultancy Services) as the moderator. This discussion delved into leadership challenges, risk management, IT innovations, and global business strategies, offering valuable insights to inspire the next generation of leaders.

Today we had the privilege of hosting Mr. Vidya Bhushan, Co-founder & COO Daalchini Technologies at the campus and had an amazing interaction on exploring new initiatives for academic development in the institution and brainstorming on organisational effectiveness. The discussion primarily focused on student well being in the campus and exploring new opportunities.
Looking forward to more enriching sessions with Mr. Vidya Bhushan and collaboration with a purpose.

Mr. Sharma's session covered a range of crucial topics, including importance of self-awareness, resilience, and continous improvement. The masterclass highlighted the significance of clear and impactful communication in achieving success in the corporate world.

Mr. Sharma's session covered a range of crucial topics, including importance of self-awareness, resilience, and continous improvement. The masterclass highlighted the significance of clear and impactful communication in achieving success in the corporate world.

The AGILE Club students at GIMS hosted a fantastic Lighting Talk on "Present a Unique Supply Chain" on August 3, 2024. The event was a huge success, with students presenting many unique and innovative supply chain models. The presentations covered various topics, including supplier sourcing, supplier-purchaser collaboration, supplier information management, purchase order management, inventory management, warehouse and transportation management, supply chain planning, and shipping.

We are incredibly proud of our students for their insightful and creative approaches to solving real-world supply chain challenges. The event provided a great platform for knowledge sharing and networking with industry experts.

This talk is an opportunity for the students to delve into the intricacies of supply chain management and explore key aspects such as inventory management, warehouse, supply chain planning, transportation management & shipping.

theme "Role of Behavioural Finance in Financial Inclusion" as a part of its Induction Programme for the new PGDM Batch 24-26 on August 1, 2024.

The conclave featured distinguished panelists from the corporate, who discussed the latest AI technologies and their rapid adoption in daily life. They equipped participants with innovative strategies for active economic participation and emphasized the significant role of emerging technologies in the evolving financial landscape. The discussion covered behavioural finance, consumer adoption, compliance technology, artificial intelligence, financial inclusion, and
investor emotions.

The conclave featured eminent speakers from the corporate, Mr. Rohit Kishor, Strategic Manager for Sports, Amazon North Region, Dr. Ankur Sharan, Manager, Hindustan Times, Mr. Sachin Sharma, Director, Jupasoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The panelists explored the latest trends in data-driven decision-making, discussed challenges and opportunities in data analytics implementation, and shared real-time success stories. The discussion also highlighted the transformative power of data in optimizing logistics and supply chain operations.
