On December 07, 2024, the campus of GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR buzzed with excitement as the renowned UPSC Educator and Motivational Speaker, Mr. Avadh Pratap Ojha, who graced us with his powerful presence to deliver a session on "Mindset Matters: Transforming Obstacles into Opportunities," organised for PGDM batch 24-26.

Mr. Ojha, who is renowned for his distinct style of motivating and profound understanding of conquering obstacles, enthralled the audience with his gripping story. The importance of developing a positive outlook, viewing obstacles as opportunities for personal development, and remaining resilient in the face of hardship were the key topics of the session. Learning from a speaker of Mr. Ojha's level was a life-changing experience that gave students a new outlook on how to face life's obstacles head-on with courage and resolve.

GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR has been honored with the prestigious Best Management College in North India for Industry Interface 2024 award, presented during the 8th National Excellence Award Ceremony 2024 held at India International Centre, New Delhi, on December 05, 2024.

At the ceremony, Dr. Ruchi Rayat, Executive Director-GIMS, received the award from Mr. Rajiv Kumar, Member Secretary, AICTE. This honor demonstrates the potential and achievement of our students as well as the diligence and commitment of our faculties and staff. It fortifies our determination to keep pushing boundaries, providing cutting-edge management education, and fostering an environment where education, creativity, and industry engagement coexist. We keep aiming for excellence and developing leaders who make an impact in the global business arena.
 

For supply chain students of PGDM batch 23-25, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, recently organised an Industrial Visit to the Inland Container Depot (ICD), Asia's largest dry port, near Dadri on December 03, 2024.

Students got a firsthand look at how a top-tier logistics center operates. This tour offered insightful information about supply chain management, logistics, export-import, shipping, and industry best practices. Our students learned about the most recent advancements and trends in the field by interacting with professionals in the field.

Industrial Visit on Expo CPHI & PMEC for Industrial Interaction 

The student coordinators of AGILE: The Logistics & SCM Club, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR,i arranged the visit to CPHI & PMEC India 2024 at Expo Centre, Greater Noida. 

This was a learning experience for the students providing an opportunity to interact with many Industries under one roof. 
The Students got the opportunity to interact with the Senior Management of some leading Pharma Supplier Organisations such - Hindustan Phosphates Ltd, RHR Medicare Pvt Ltd, Ami Plymers, Innova HealthCare, Nandan Petrochem Ltd to name a few.

As part of its Chanakya Talks: Corporate Speaker Series, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, had the honor of hosting an enlightening session on the theme "Turning Rejection into Opportunities: Building Resilience and Growth in Your Career Journey" for PGDM batch 23-25. 

The distinguished guest speaker, Mr. Raizada Sorabh Bali, a well-known career coach, educational activist, and co-founder of Posterity Consulting, took the stage to share his insightful knowledge and experiences. Mr. Bali, who has a wealth of experience in professional coaching and counseling, talked openly about how rejection and setbacks—which are frequently viewed as roadblocks—can actually be effective stepping stones to success.

GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, recently hosted yet another inspiring session as part of its "Tutelage" program, featuring the renowned motivational speaker and a corporate trainer, Mr. Sonu Sharma. 

Mr. Sharma gave the pupils insightful & valuable guidance while concentrating on stress management. He underlined how crucial it is to keep life in balance and provided doable methods for handling stress and emotions in daily life. Mr. Sharma actively engaged with the participants throughout the session, providing them with insightful commentary that struck a deep chord. His method promoted resilience and a sense of empowerment in students by giving them a better grasp of how to handle stress in both their personal and professional lives.

On 28th November 2024, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, is hosting an insightful and empowering session on the theme "Turning Rejection into Opportunity: Building Resilience and Growth in Your Career Journey" for PGDM batch 23-25.

Mr. Raizada Sorabh Bali, Co-founder, Posterity Consulting Pvt Ltd and a Well-Known Career Coach & Educational Activist will be the session's guest. Mr. Bali brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, having shaped careers and fueled organizational success for years. In order to promote long-term professional success, his captivating workshop will center on overcoming the difficulties of rejection, transforming setbacks into opportunities, and developing resilience.

For PGDM Batch 24-26 students, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR organised an industrial visit to Anmol Industries, a prominent leader in the FMCG sector, as part of the continuous efforts to close the gap between academic learning and industry practices. The purpose of the tour was to provide students a firsthand look at the production and operational procedures of a reputable organization, and it turned out to be a valuable educational experience. It gave students a better grasp of the intricacies of contemporary corporate operations by enabling them to observe how ideas learned in class were applied in real-world situations.

An informative session on the topic of "Impact of AI & Technology on Mergers and Acquisitions Decision Making" was successfully held for PGDM Batch 23-25 on November 28, 2024, organised by Arthvitt: The Finance & Economics Club, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR. 

As our distinguished speaker, we were pleased to have Ms. Priti Goel, Founder/CEO & MD of Prisha Wealth Management Pvt. Ltd. and Partner & CEO of Avinav Consulting. Ms. Goel provided insightful information about how technology and artificial intelligence are revolutionizing mergers and acquisitions. Her knowledge motivated students to investigate how technology will influence the corporate world in the future, from increasing the effectiveness of decision-making to revolutionizing financial data analysis. Students gained a useful perspective on using technology in corporate growth plans from this engaging seminar, which also promoted thought-provoking conversations.

The Motivational Speaker, Mr. Sonu Sharma led a Faculty and Staff Development Program at GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, on November 27, 2024 and it was a highly engaging and thought provoking session for the participants.

Mr. Sharma, well-known for his proficiency in leadership and personal growth, led an engaging session catered to the faculty's requirements. The discussion included a range of training-related topics, emphasizing methods to improve student engagement, time management, and instructional efficacy. The interactive format of the event, which featured real-world examples and hands-on demonstrations, was well-received by the faculty and staff.
