The second group of PGDM Batch 2023-25, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, embarked on an exciting Day 3 of their International Immersion Program in Malaysia with an enriching experience.

The day began at MAHSA University, where they attended their first certification session on AI Technologies: Empowering the Future of Innovation and Growth. This insightful session provided the students with a comprehensive understanding of artificial intelligence and its transformative impact on various industries.

Post the academic session, the students indulged in an exhilarating city tour of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's dynamic capital where they explored some of the fascinating places like Chocolate Factory, historic Central Market a bustling hub for Malaysian arts and crafts, inconic Petronas Twin Towers.

Altogether, the day was filled with learning and exploration.

On Day 3, Dr. Imad Ali, Professor of Supply Chain Management, delivered a captivating session to MBA students on Digital Transformation in Supply Chain. The module focused on how technologies like AI, IoT, Blockchain, and automation are revolutionizing global supply chain management. Dr. Ali expertly illustrated how these advancements are driving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing decision-making, equipping future leaders with the knowledge to navigate an increasingly digital world.

Another exciting day of the International Immersion Program (IIP) 2024 in Malaysia for the students of PGDM Batch 23-25 from GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR! 

As part of this continuous educational journey, our next group of students experienced a fascinating exploration of Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage. They visited the majestic King's Palace, strolled through the historic Independence Square, and marveled at the sacred Batu Caves. These experiences provided invaluable real-world exposure, blending education with cultural immersion.

Day -3 IIP- Malaysia 

As part of this exciting educational journey, the students of PGDM Batch 2023-25, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, kicked off their third day of International Immersion Program (IIP) in Malaysia with an enriching session at the MAHSA University on Data Visualization for Managers, followed by an exploration of Kuala Lumpur’s most iconic landmarks and cultural spots.

Their first stop was the Choco Factory, a popular spot known for its diverse collection of locally made chocolates. Next on the itinerary was the iconic KL Tower, one of the tallest structures in Malaysia, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the entire city. The students then made their way to Petronas Towers, Malaysia's most recognizable landmark. The majestic twin towers stand as a symbol of the country’s modernity and ambition.

To wrap up the day, the group enjoyed a delicious dinner at Chola's, a renowned Indian restaurant in Kuala Lumpur.

Day 2 of Our Malaysia Adventure!

What an incredible day it's been! We began by having lunch at an Indian restaurant, savoring familiar flavors before heading out to explore. Afterward, we visited the majestic King's Palace, where students admired the grandeur of Malaysia's royal heritage and learned about its rich history.

The highlight of the day was the awe-inspiring Batu Caves! Students marveled at the stunning limestone formations and soaked in the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of this iconic Malaysian destination. The blend of natural beauty and deep-rooted traditions left everyone in awe.

Before ending the day with dinner, we enjoyed some sightseeing at the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, a true marvel of modern architecture.

From delicious food to royalty, spirituality, and breathtaking cityscapes, Day 2 in Malaysia was a journey to remember! Stay tuned for more adventures tomorrow!

The students of PGDM batch 2024-26, GIMS, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR had yet another insightful opportunity to attend the masterclass by the eminent motivational speaker, Mr. Sonu Sharma, under the banner of “Tutelage” program on September 24, 2024.

These power packed sessions provide an opportunity to our students to leverage their focus and pay attention to what matters most at work and in life. In today's session, students were delighted to learn about his practical strategies on different topics like time management, self-management etc which they can apply personally and professionally. Mr. Sharma brought unique perspectives, gained from his own experience to the students, empowering them to understand the untapped potential within themselves. Students were motivated and recharged with the positivity which was reflected in his teachings throughout the session.
 

With an aim to enabling the students to perform better in the competitive corporate world, GIMS Greater Noida/Delhi NCR organized yet another enriching session for its PGDM Batch 2023-25 under the banner of “Tutelege” program. In this session with Mr. Sonu Sharma, India's top voice and corporate motivational speaker, our students got benefitted by gaining practical tips on enhancing self-discipline and the importance of consistent effort. In this session Mr. Sonu Sharma deeply connected with the students and enlightened them both at personal and professional level and also shared his expert advice on interpersonal behavior, building and maintaining relationships, and navigating complex situations.

GIMS successfully organized Chanakya Talks: Corporate Speaker Series on the theme ‘Navigating the Transition from Campus to Corporate and Beyond’ for the PGDM batch (2024-26) on September 21, 2024.

It was an honor to have Mr. Amit Sharma, Director of Technology at Cavisson Systems, and Mr. Samik Roy, Executive Director at Microsoft India, as our esteemed speakers. Their insights into leadership, innovation, and overcoming the challenges in today’s evolving business landscape were truly inspiring.

A heartfelt thank you to both speakers for their invaluable knowledge and for motivating us to learn, adapt, and lead with purpose!

The students of PGDM batch 23-25, GIMS, Greater Noida, Delhi/NCR had an insightful Industry Immersion Program to Dainik Bhaskar's subsidiary unit M.P. Printer a Unit of D.B. Corp Ltd, a leading company in Print Media.

The Industry Immersion Program provided them with a deep understanding of the company’s products , its manufacturing processes, detailing on complete process of News Paper's Printing process and strong customer-centric approach that have established Dainik Bhaskar, D.B. Corp Ltd as a key player in the Hindi, Gujrati & Marathi New Paper sector and in other areas.

During the visit, students were explained end-to-end Supply Chain Processes including varied Printing Processes by the Dainik Bhaskar's senior management about journey from its inception to becoming a trusted brand in today's competitive environment . They explored the company's #cutting-edge technologies and witnessed the production of high-quality components that meet global standards. This visit equipped future managers with a comprehensive view of the Print Media industry and its ever-evolving trends. GIMS is continuously striving for building the standards in our students for giving them regular industry exposure.
