GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS) organized Expert session on the 'Role of Ethics in Management' on 4th Aug 23 for the PGDM 2023-25 Batch.

The expert speaker of the session- Shri Sri Mohan Singh,delivered an excellent coverage to understanding ethical considerations within management practices and their impact on decision-making and organizational culture. The session aimed to promote awareness of cultural differences and their influence on ethical perspectives, helping individuals navigate diverse and global workplaces. He further discussed how Mahatma Gandhi emphasized on moral values, nonviolent resistance, and a commitment to social justice.

Corporate Resource Centre (CRC), GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS) organized an industrial visit to Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd., Sonipat, Haryana for its PGDM 2022-24 batch. 

Students visited the state-of-the-art facility of Yakult and learnt more about the practical implications of management concepts and practices. Yakult, being the global leader in the probiotic segment, is surely an organization to look up to.

HASHTAG -The Marketing Club of GNIOT Institute of Management studies ( GIMS ), Greater Noida under the banner of  EMPLOYABILITY SKILL ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM (ESEP) is organizing a session on Demystifying Marketing Mix: The Marketer's Dilemma for the PGDM Batch 2023 – 2025.
Marketing as domain is undergoing significant changes. Social media, product Innovation, advertising, and Digital Marketing, to mention a few, are now vying for consumers' and marketers' attention. These changes have fashioned what is known as the marketer's dilemma. Today's marketer has more ways than ever before to connect with their target audience. However, it has never been more challenging to capture that user's interest and keep it. 
To develop some more insights on the topic we have our resource persons  Dr. Nishant Kr. Singh Associate Professor & Area Chair- Marketing, Dr. Anshika Rajvanshi, Professor -Marketing and Prof. Prachi Pachaury, Assistant Professor- Marketing The session is designed to guide & equip students in channelizing their conceptual knowledge into practical aspects and give an insight about the 4 P’s of Marketing Mix. The students will also learn how to create a marketing plan for products.

Corporate Resource Centre(CRC),GIMS,  Gr. Noida organized another informative episode of the Chanakya Talk Series (CTS) on 22nd July, 2023. The corporate guest for the event was Mr. Alok Kumar Sr. Director- DHL Supply Chain, the largest company providing courier, package delivery and express mail services.
Mr. Alok Kumar threw some light on "Supply chain transparency for critical collaborations". His talk highlighted the role of technology, including IoT, and data analytics, in enabling transparency across the supply chain. He shared examples of how DHL Supply Chain has leveraged technology to enhance visibility, traceability, and accountability in their operations. 

NUTAN- The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Cell at GIMS, Greater Noida, under the flagship of Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) & InnovateUp (Incubator) organised an engaging and informative online session on "Accelerators/Incubation- Opportunities for Students & Faculties - Early Stage Entrepreneurs on 21st July, 2023. The event aimed to educate the academic community about the role of accelerators and incubators in fostering innovation, nurturing entrepreneurship, and supporting early-stage ventures.

The session was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Sanyam Dhingra, DGM- Venture Development at  Atal Incubation Centre, BIMTECH, who brought his vast experience and expertise to the discussion. Mr. Sanyam Dhingra took the virtual stage, shedding light on the fundamental differences between Incubation and acceleration programs. He emphasized that both these support systems play a crucial role in nurturing startups and early-stage ventures. The session focused on the various opportunities available for students and Faculties through Incubation and acceleration programs. Participants were informed about how they can transform their innovative ideas into reality and leverage the expertise of mentors and industry professionals to refine their business models.

Abhyuday- The OB & HRM Club, GIMS had organized a workshop on “Stress Management & Building Resilience’ under the banner of Employability Skill Enhancement Program on 19th July 2023.

During the session, Dr. Rayat helped students to develop and implement effective strategies in dealing with stress at the personal or organisational level and how to manage stress in the workplace effectively. During this workshop, students learnt various techniques, which will help them to reduce and handle the stress that impacts their daily lives. The workshop aimed to help students to identify signs of stress and other mental health issues in individuals.

NUTAN - The Startup & Entrepreneurship Club at GIMS, Greater Noida, hosted an enlightening session on "Nurturing Innovation Ecosystems: Empowering Entrepreneurs through Incubators."

GIMS, Greater Noida organised an enlightening Expert Talk Session on Youth Empowerment with Sri Vikas Vaibhav, IPS (IG) on July 13,2023 for PGDM Batch 2023-25.

The session was filled with inspiration and valuable insights on Youth Empowerment. Sri Vikas Vaibhav Ji, captivated the audience with his profound wisdom and practical insights on strategies to create a positive impact on the lives of youth. The session covered a range of empowering anecdotes inspired from the Vedas and our rich scriptures.

Through his engaging stories and real-life examples, he motivated and encouraged the audience to step out of their comfort zones, dream big, and take proactive steps towards their goals. The session left everyone feeling inspired, motivated, and equipped with practical tools to empower themselves and others around them.

SPARDHAA, The Sports Club, GIMS Greater Noida, organized INFINITO 2.0- A Champion League on 12th July, 2023. 
The students exhibited boundless energy, exhilarating performances, and unyielding sportsmanship, and the event was a true testament to the power of teamwork, dedication, and the heroic spirit of our students. 
Multiple outdoor and indoor events were organised on the day, like football, chess, carrom, Ludo, and basketball, that developed the feeling of team spirit and collaboration. 
Congratulations to all who contributed to make this event successful, from the participants who poured their hearts into their respective sports and activities to the Faculties and staff members and volunteers who tirelessly supported and guided them.

MERAKI-2023, was inaugurated on June 30,2023 at the India Expo Centre in the presence of the management, faculty, staff and PGDM 2023-25 Batch students of GIMS Greater Noida along with the dignitaries present from the Industry visiting from different locations across the country.

Day 1 of the event witnessed a fleet of industry experts.The Chief Guest for the day Ms. Nidhi Sharma, (HR Director, Dentsu India), the Expert Speakers for the Panel Discussion on "Campus to Corporate", Mr. Anoop Mitra, (Founder ION Management Services) and Mr. Mrityunjay Rohit, (VP – HR CredAble, Ex Amazon), Mr. Agniwesh Thakur, (Director-Human Capital, Deloitte) and the celebrity guest Mr. Ashneer Grover, (Founder BharatPe/CrickPe, author, Bestseller-Doglapan), all emphasized on learning, unlearning and relearning as a Mantra to excel in the cut-throat competition of today.

They focused on employing various strategies to enhance the learning curve of the PGDM 2023-25 batch millennial managers.

They did so by sharing plenty of their life experiences with the Professionals in the Making and also addressed the queries of the audience.
