GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, in association with the Times of India, organized an enlightening Leadership Talk Series for PGDM batch 24-26 on November 21, 2024. The session's theme, "Redefining Success: Mental Well-being in the Age of Ambition," struck a deep chord with the difficulties that today's driven young people experience in striking a balance between their personal and professional goals.

The event was planned as a fireside conversation with guest speaker Ms. Kanika Agarwal, a seasoned life coach and co-founder of MindPeers. Dr. Ruchi Rayat, Professor/Executive Director-GIMS, moderated the workshop. She conducted an interesting discussion and guided the conversation with relevant questions. Dr. Rayat and Ms. Agarwal talked about useful techniques for dealing with stress, anxiety, and burnout—problems that both professionals and students frequently face. They also discussed how life coaching may help people match their professional aspirations with their personal beliefs and objectives, which would eventually result in a more satisfying existence.

The student coordinators of Hashtag: The Marketing Club, GIMS, Greater Noida, Delhi/NCR organized an ecstatic activity #Marquest: The Marketing Adventure for the PGDM Batch 2024-26, which took them on an exciting journey through creativity, strategy, and problem-solving, all while encouraging teamwork and collaboration. 

Students faced fascinating marketing difficulties, unleashed their original ideas, and collaborated to develop dynamic solutions. They astonished us all with their unparalleled creativity in developing novel marketing techniques. 

GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi NCR, successfully hosted Samrik Talk Series on "Turning Challenges into Opportunities" for PGDM batch 24-26 on November 16, 2024. 

The renowned Ms. Manjari Jaruhar (Ex-IPS), Advisor to the Committee on Private Security Industry at FICCI and former Special Director General of CISF was invited as a Guest Speaker to enlighten the students with her impressive knowledge and experience.

Ms. Jaruhar highlighted leadership, perseverance, and turning setbacks into opportunities for growth as she presented motivational tales and priceless insights from her remarkable career. Her observations inspired the audience and gave them useful tactics to help them in their future managerial and leadership.
 

GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi NCR, recently hosted an incredibly impactful session with Major Shashank Shekhar Singh, an officer in the Indian Army's Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering.The session was organised for PGDM batch 24-26.

Mr. Singh shared key insights on leadership, teamwork, and personal growth. Drawing from his decade-long service in the Indian Army, he emphasized the importance of developing a strong character, attitude, and skills necessary for success. His real-world examples from military life illustrated how these qualities are essential not only for leading a team or regiment but also for excelling in any professional setting. The session left students with practical tools to navigate the competitive corporate world and become effective leaders.

The student coordinators of Abhyuday: The OB & HR Club, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, organised an insightful HR Workshop, themed around "Contemporary Issues in HR" for the PGDM batch 24-26 on November 13, 2024.

Esteemed guests Dr. Virendra P Singh, a renowned Academician/Advisor/Executive Coach & Mentor and Mr. Niraj Kumar, Strategic HR Tech. & ER Practitioner, Mentor & Coach, joined the session to shed light on the current challenges and evolving trends in human resources. They both emphasised their discussion on contemporary issues in human resources like embracing technology in HR, diversity & inclusion, employee well-being, talent retention, and performance management. The discussions left students equipped and inspired to think creatively and responsibly about the future of HR.

The student coordinators of AGILE: The Logistics & SCM Club, GIMS, Gr. Noida, Delhi/NCR, have organised a simulation game activity "Play The Game" on 9th Nov' 24 for the students of PGDM Batch 24-26.

This SCM simulation challenge has given opportunity to the students to learn about Order Management, Production & Inventory Management and Distribution Management through live game. This activity has allowed students to play the roles as Factory, Wholesaler and Distributors and demonstrate the best SCM strategies through effective planning to ensure timely production & deliveries with cost optimization.

This was an exciting and engaging activity which helped them to build the real understanding of supply chain processes, enhanced problem-solving skills, and improved decision-making abilities to strengthen their skills.

As the colors of Rangoli brighten our homes and glow of diyas fills the air with warmth, the Deepotsav- Deepo ka Pawan Tyohar, organised by student coordinators of Sanskriti - The Arts & Cultural Club, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, truly brought the spirit of prosperity in our lives.

The event was smashing success showcasing the cultural dance performances, singing and joyful games. A huge shoutout to the student coordinators of Sanskriti Club for making the celebrations an unforgettable one!
