This recognition reflects GIMS' unwavering commitment to building strong industry connections and providing exceptional corporate exposure for our students. Dr. Ruchi Rayat, Executive Director- GIMS, had the privilege of receiving this award on behalf of the institute . With an aim to equip students with actionable strategies for embracing innovation and managing #disruption in their future careers, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, organised Prabodhan Talk Series (PTS), on the theme "Innovation and Disruption: Strategies for Success" for PGDM Batch 24-26 on Saturday, September 14, 2024.

The session featured two distinguished #stalwart from the industry, Mr. Ashish Goel, Director E-Commerce, Vedanta Limited-Aluminium Business & Mr. Tarun Ahuja, VP Finance Delivery Lead, ESG Change-HSBC, as the resource person for this series. This expert talk focused on innovation and disruption, yet another step towards shaping the future leaders of tomorrow. Both speakers, offered guidance on managing teams, fostering innovation, and #steering businesses through periods of uncertainty. 
 

As part of the ongoing Corporate Readiness Series, GIMS, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR, with the aim of fostering corporate readiness and professional excellence, successfully concluded the 3rd edition of the Corporate Readiness Workshop: From Resume to Role for the PGDM Batch 2023-25. Held on September 14th, 2024, this event brought together a distinguished panel of industry experts, including Dr. Swampreet Singh, General Manager - Campus at Niva Bupa Health Insurance; Harsh Raghubanshi, HR Professional and former talent at Aditya Birla Group and LTIMindtree; Anand Amrit Raj, HR Leader & Business Advisor at AAR Services; Pragya Mathur, HR leader,former AGM HR at Dainik Bhaskar Group; Himanshu Wadia, Director - IT Infrastructure & BSS at Amdocs; Himanshu Shukla, General Manager at Jio Platforms Ltd.; Harsh Raj Jain, Talent Acquisition Head APAC & India Campus Lead at Ebixcash; Vatsalya Chaturvedi, Vice President at Barclays; Rishika Vohra, HR Professional with experience at HCL, Airbnb, and CK Birla Group; Deepak Bansal, Head of Talent Acquisition at Royal Cyber Inc.; Anirudh Kaushik, Early Careers Recruiter at India Fidelity International; Preeti Agrawal, HR Professional with experience at Prozo and HDB Financial Services Ltd.; Kirti Yadav, Assistant Consultant at Tata Consultancy Services; and Mr. Ashish Kumar, Manager at Tata Consultancy Services.

This workshop exemplifies GIMS' commitment to equipping its students with the knowledge, skills, and mindset required to succeed in the highly competitive corporate landscape. 

The students of PGDM Batch 24-26, GIMS, Greater Noida, Delhi/NCR had an enriching Industrial Visit to Anmol Industries Limited, a leading player in the FMCG sector. The visit offered them valuable insights into the company’s operations, product innovation, and extensive distribution strategies that have made Anmol a household name.

Students learned about the company’s growth journey, from its humble beginnings to becoming a major force in the snacks and bakery industry. They witnessed firsthand the state-of-the-art production facilities, where quality control and efficiency are paramount. The experience deepened their understanding of supply chain management and product differentiation, crucial aspects of the FMCG sector. This visit provided future managers with a practical perspective on business operations and consumer-centric strategies.

The Student Coordinators of Arthvitt: The Finance Club, GIMS, Greater Noida/Delhi-NCR, successfully organized a "Financial Literacy Workshop" themed "Unlock Financial Confidence" for the PGDM Batch 23-25 on September 3, 2024. The event received an overwhelming response, with students actively participating and engaging with the expert speakers.

The workshop featured esteemed guests Mr. Harpreet Singh, Founder & CEO of F2 Fintech, and Mr. Abhinav Awal, Co-Founder & MD of F2 Fintech. They shared their extensive knowledge and experience in the financial sector, providing students with valuable tools and strategies to boost their financial knowledge and confidence.

The Corporate Readiness Workshop: "From Resume to Role" Series 2.0 for the PGDM Batch 2023-25 organised by GIMS Greater Noida/ Delhi-NCR was a tremendous success! Our students had the opportunity to learn directly from industry leaders about essential skills for career success.

Key takeaways from the workshop included crafting effective resumes, mastering interview techniques, understanding personal branding, and navigating the transition from academia to industry. These insights will be invaluable as our students prepare for their future careers.

Our students were inspired by the dynamic leadership strategies shared and gained invaluable wisdom on maneuvering through the intricate landscape of the corporate world. The session not only equipped them with advanced leadership skills but also deepened their understanding of overcoming real-world challenges with resilience and strategic thinking.

To sensitized students on various critical aspects of the corporate journey, GIMS, Greater Noida, Delhi/NCR, hosted 5th Masterclass by Mr. Sonu Sharma, a motivational and corporate trainer, for the PGDM Batch 23-25, under the Tutelage Program. 

In this 5th master class, Mr. Sharma helped the students to learn the nuances to become a leader of tomorrow. With his unparalleled experience and expertise, he threw light on how to navigate the complexities of the corporate world, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and adaptability in a rapidly changing business environment.
